Tommy Hilfiger has solidified his presence in the Formula 1 realm, becoming a notable figure in the world of motorsport fashion.
Through the years, Hilfiger’s brand has been associated with some of the sport’s most recognized drivers, and he gained recognition as the official fashion sponsor for the fictional APXGP Team featured in Brad Pitt’s much-anticipated “F1 the Movie.”
His dedication to the racing circuit culminated in October when he was awarded the Cameron R. Argetsinger Award for Outstanding Contributions to Motorsports, an honor presented by the International Motor Racing Research Center.
In an exciting collaboration, Hilfiger is the exclusive fanwear partner for the Cadillac Formula 1 team, which is making its debut this season. Earlier this year, he introduced a line of co-branded fan gear and replicas inspired by the team’s uniforms. For the upcoming Miami Grand Prix from May 1-3, Hilfiger has crafted a unique limited-edition collection that features Miami-themed graphic tees, hoodies, and caps, all adorned with designs of stylized palm trees, the city skyline, and an iconic Formula 1 car. The collection showcases a vibrant pink color palette that reflects Miami’s dynamic racing culture, and items range in price from $49.90 to $349.90, available in sizes from XXS to XXL.
The Miami-themed collection represents just one aspect of a wider series of city-inspired releases tied to significant events on the Formula 1 calendar. Future drops are planned for other key locations, such as Austin and Las Vegas, featuring localized artistry and color schemes in the Tommy Hilfiger x Cadillac fanwear line.
Launched recently, the Miami collection can be found on the official Tommy Hilfiger website, Amazon, Macy’s, and at select Tommy Hilfiger retail locations, including stores in Dolphin Mall and Sawgrass Mills in Florida. Certain pieces will also be available trackside during the Miami Grand Prix, providing fans with a unique opportunity to showcase their F1 spirit in style.
As the world of motorsports continues to evolve, collaborations like those between Tommy Hilfiger and Cadillac serve as a testament to the integration of style and sport. This intersection highlights not only the importance of branding in motorsports but also how fashion can engage and inspire fans around the globe.
