a) Daisy Edgar-Jones looks lovely in this Miu Miu. In fact, I think her entire press push for this project has been REALLY pretty and it’s not really getting the attention it deserves.
b) Esmé Creed-Miles’s mother is Samantha Morton and I can really see a Young Samantha Morton in her face, although I’m sure people tell her she looks like her dad all the time. (Fact: Morton and Creed-Miles broke up when Samantha was 15 weeks pregnant with Esmé. Also, yes, that linked photo of Samantha Morton is her with a drunk-looking Orlando Bloom wearing a trucker hat at the opening of a De Beers in 2002. The turn of the century was a real experience!)
c) I like this look on Esmé fine — this goes with the “upscale Dickensian urchin” vibe she’s been working this entire press tour — but, stay with me here….wouldn’t we like to see this on Kristen Stewart? Think about it.
