Jahan Gylyjova’s professional journey is a story of consistent progress. Her experience in the financial sector includes comprehensive reporting and the economic stability of a structure. Today, she continues to actively grow and expand her competencies, as well as generate unique ideas for automating cash control and accounting. In our article, you’ll learn more about her life and beyond.
Jahan Gylyjova was born in the small town of Dashoguz, in northern Turkmenistan. She grew up in a working-class family, where from an early age she was instilled with a respect for work, a sense of responsibility, and discipline. She recalls spending her free time with her mother at work. There, Jahan began her acquaintance with cash flow, which later developed into a deep love for accounting
“From childhood, I had an example of stability and consistency. My parents loved work and taught me the same,” – she recalls.
She spent her school years at City School No. 10. After graduating in 1998, Jahan made a conscious choice and enrolled in Vocational School No. 2 in Dashoguz, specializing in “Accounting and Operational Technology in a Bank.” Her choice in this field was no accident.
Early in her career, Jahan worked as an assistant to the chief accountant at a private company. This period became a practical training ground for financial discipline. She later gained experience in a hotel complex and as the head of the HR department at a repair and construction company.
Each stage added management skills and an understanding of business structure.
A fateful turning point in her professional life occurred in 2009, when she began working for the Turkmenistan Airlines system at Dashoguz International Airport.
Working at an international airport involves multi-level accounting and the constant flow of funds. Jahan began as an administrative secretary, then moved to the accounting department as a cashier.
Over time, she became an accountant-cashier, and then was awarded the second category of accountant.
Over the years, she has received several official commendations for her hard work, including in 2016, 2018, and 2024. These awards are a testament to her professionalism.
In December 2024, Jahan arrived in a new country. She views this experience as a logical continuation of her professional path. “After fifteen years of practice, I realized I was ready for a more challenging market. Higher standards mean stronger competition, which means faster professional growth,” she emphasizes.
Jahan is currently actively working on her own project, Jahan Smart Solutions. It focuses on developing an AI-based accounting and financial management platform for businesses of all sizes. According to Jahan, the idea arose from practical experience.
“I’ve worked within the system for many years and encountered various problems myself. I know where errors can occur and which processes are best automated. That’s why I want to create a tool that will truly simplify the lives of accountants and CFOs,” – explains Gylyjova
She believes in sustainable development and strives to build a solid foundation in her career. Her life shows us that an accountant’s trajectory is far from the stereotypical image of routine and monotonous accounting. In reality, it is a dynamic professional path, associated with continuous skill development and opportunities for growth.
