Born in the quaint town of Dashoguz in northern Turkmenistan, Jahan grew up surrounded by the values instilled by her working-class family. From a young age, she absorbed the principles of hard work, responsibility, and discipline. She often spent her afternoons with her mother at work, which sparked her initial curiosity about cash flow—a fascination that would evolve into a profound passion for accounting.
“From childhood, I had an example of stability and consistency. My parents loved work and taught me the same,” she reflects.
Her academic journey began at City School No. 10, where she graduated in 1998. Following this, Jahan made a deliberate choice to enhance her skills by enrolling in Vocational School No. 2 in Dashoguz, focusing on “Accounting and Operational Technology in a Bank.” This decision was born from a focused ambition rather than mere happenstance.
In the early days of her career, Jahan served as an assistant to the chief accountant at a private enterprise. This period served as her practical training ground, refining her financial discipline. She later gained diverse experience at a hotel complex and headed the HR department of a construction and repair company. Each phase enriched her understanding of management and business structures.
A pivotal moment in her professional life arrived in 2009 when Jahan took on a role at Turkmenistan Airlines, operating from Dashoguz International Airport. Working in such a dynamic environment involved intricate accounting tasks and a constant influx of funds. Starting as an administrative secretary, she gradually transitioned into the accounting department as a cashier.
Through her dedication, she advanced to the position of accountant-cashier, earning the recognition of a second-category accountant. Her exemplary performance has garnered several official commendations over the years, particularly in 2016, 2018, and 2024, recognizing her unwavering commitment to her work.
In December 2024, Jahan embarked on a new chapter in a different country, which she views as a natural evolution of her career. “After fifteen years of practice, I realized I was prepared for a more competitive market. Enhanced standards mean stronger competition, leading to faster professional development,” she states.
Currently, Jahan is passionately pursuing her own venture, Jahan Smart Solutions. This project aims to create an AI-driven accounting and financial management platform tailored for businesses of all sizes. The idea stemmed directly from her extensive experience.
“I’ve spent years navigating the system and faced numerous challenges myself. I’ve identified where errors can occur and the processes ripe for automation. My goal is to create a tool that genuinely streamlines the lives of accountants and CFOs,” Gylyjova explains.
